Guages with NMEA inputs...

I have acquired some old Telcor gauges with NMEA input jacks. Will any NMEA equipped Anemometer work with them? These are such nice looking gauges and would look great on Oh Joy but if they can't read the data, what good are they. I detest the square digital units on a classic boat and nobody makes a classic round gauge anymore.
