Help id a boat

I recently took my ASA 101 course, got off the boat and saw a real beauty on the dock. Of course I didn't take a picture so I'm not sure who made it. I'll give some details and hope someone can put me on the right track. The boat had a very tub like rear end to it, very distinctive, the line from bow to aft was very "curved", I don't recall any teak on the desk but it did have wood around the outside of the boat where the bumpers hung. The cabin was wood, there was a wheel (boat was about 35'), that's about all I can remember. I know it is thin. The tub shaped rear end was the real distinctive part. It looked a little bit like the boat below but more curvy, especially in the rear.

I keep googling and so far the closest I can find is a lord nelson boat but it is really hard to find any information on the boats they made or if they are even still in production. Anybody know about them?

It sounds like you saw a boat with a canoe stern, possibly a double ender. Lord Nelson is an example, but it's one of the least common.

Go on Yachtworld and take a look at Tayana 37s, Hans Christian 33s and larger, Pacific Seacraft Crealock 34 and 37.

But very few of the more modern designs have wooden coachroofs. Of those above the HC and Tayanas would have the most wood on deck.

I don't know if this helps, but could it be a Brandt? I saw this one while admiring other boats for sale (my wife calls it "boat porn"). I may be confused by what you mean by "tub shaped rear end".

Did it have teak decks?

I think the Ta Shing Baba is the one I saw. It is a beauty of a boat and from what I've read online it sounds very capable although expensive.

Are there boats in the sub 30' size that have a similar look to these boats? All of the ones suggested here are over 30'. I'm not looking to buy anytime soon, I'm just trying to learn about the boats that are visually appealing to me. Thanks for all the info.

What do you think of the Choey Lee boats? They seem to have a similar look and come in 27' size. I like that it has a wheel although I understand in a smaller boat this reduces the usable size of the cockpit. The draft seems shallow which would be good for lake sailing locally. Could it be sailed in the seattle/bellingham area? I would assume it is large enough but I'm wondering about weight etc. Thanks for indulging my questions.
