Might be a good opportunity to touch up the bottom paint. Might also want to inspect the keel-hull joint while he's at it.

I'm betting that's an O'Day 322. We had one for about 12 years.

Wing keel - and the boat - sailed beautifully, but wait'll you run that wing keel aground.......I mean, not that I ever did, but I heard from a friend that there are some special techniques that must be mastered if you are to come unstuck.
Don't think any of them would work in the above situation, though.
