auto pilot

I have a 1987 Pied Piper 27ft... i want to have an autopilot installed .... any suggestions as to what kind? and can it be done.. I live in New Bern N.C... Does anybody out there have a Pied Piper??

It isn't that hard to add an AP to your boat. Is it tiller or wheel? How much do you want to spend?

I remember Auto Pilot, Wasn't he the one that hit the bridge, the pier, the Oil rig, and multible other vessels along with every buoy in the channel.
Auto Pilots are like a small child let loose in a china & Cutlery shop with open cans of poisons. They have to be watched all the time and every minute of the day. Aside of that Auto pilots do help.

Actually there is another: CPT Autopilot Inc.

The difference with this one is it does not work by following GPS waypoints, which could be a handy cap to some people.
