How about Harbor Island..? It's a great spot. Round Pond is also good and Padebco Boat Builders used to offer moorings. Hog Island, the Audubon Society Island, is a great hike as are many of the Islands in Muscongus that are on the Maine Island Trail. If you have a motor on the dink gunkholing after you've anchored is somehting we often do. I like Bar Island but you'll need to dinghy there as there is no good anchoring around it..
