Thanks everyone..
You are dead right about that John..
And yes this is on the yard to
repair and make right..the mast looks.. fine no dents or buckles other then the now screwed up new
paint job... we just had it completely striped and redone last year...but Im making them somehow certify it as dammage free by an outside engineering firm.
No its not so much the dammage that happened as it could have been way worse... its just getting disheartening to see yet another Summer come and go without sailing her...and this one was a beaute to boot hot with wind, not like that often around here.
Our agreement was to have her compleated by May first. This yard caters to mega yachts and commercial fishing boats so I have ended up the kicked around red headed step child so to speak...
As Charlie mentioned, they made me wait almost 2 weeks for the crane to be available for my job and no sooner I get it they pull it off after one day...half way through the
repair to go do something else that was more inportant and could not wait one more day I guess..So I wasent there when they set it back down and re-picked it again...thats when things went south...well actually "West"..Ha!....it would not have happened had they not did that.
