Changing of the guard?

The Red Sea is closing on Lake County, as corruption’s foul stench emerges from the sacred still lake. The complicit players are doing what they can to cover the increasingly evident truth: elected officials by their own rules with little to no regard for the taxpayers who put them in business. But the crooked framework is cracking and people nationwide are seeing the putrid foul truth. In a feeble attempt to placate the poor Lake county public, the police chief has called upon media allies and other local figureheads to chair a debriefing – essentially a damage control session. After all, the DA Jon Hopkins put enormous time, effort and local taxpayer money (which is already tight in these recessive times) to try to convict an innocent sailor of manslaughter in an effort to protect a power hungry, booze-filled speed-demon in a high-powered speed boat – who happened to be the number two man in the police force. Sadly for them, he failed. Now the question is will anyone be held accountable for the untimely death of an innocent mother? Or will the people of Lake County continue to allow themselves to be bullied, victimized and deceived by those whose job it is to serve them.

I will say that the whole thing sounds very fishy. We spoke about this at our docks last week. If this does not get your blood boiling, I don't know what would. Once again, justice does not seemed to be served against a motor boater. And even if his lights were on (assuming they were not), at those speeds, there would have been nothing the sailboater could have done. And let's not forget the witnesses are all saying his lights were on. And how much alcohol did the sailor really have in his system? And the sherrif was tested 24 hours later? I would certainly be sober by then.

This whole think stinks. Read the story, my fellow sailors, and be prepared to get angry.

Dad, I have been following this from the get go. The powers to be knew exactly what they were doing by charging Dinius the sailor. The 2 year statue of limitations had run before the trail and now no charges can be brought against Russell Perdock the cop. Who should have been charged with manslaughter.

There are a bunch of people that should be in jail for obstruction of justice and conspiracy to evade justice starting with the Sheriff dept and the prosecutor.

Here's the latest that Justice was referring to. As many of you probably already know, the defendant was found not guilty, which is a good thing if you've been following the case.

It's very interesting to read. All very fishy, in my opinion, especially how the investigation was handled from the get go.

Turns out there's no statue of limitations where "Fraud Upon the Court" is involved. Possible to make a case for that?
Also, civil proceedings are already ongoing, right.
