New Piñata needed

Now that CD is leaving, we need a new piñata at SN.

You have 2 choices here; JRP & the Wombat.

I vote for smacker!! He is all grown up now but used to copping a thrashing now and again. Wombat is a far too sensitive, delicate creature.

Are we having a going away party for CD?

What are we putting in the piñata? Shackles, blocks and teltales?

Shall we use a boat hook as a bat?

What do wombat and JRP piñatas look like, I think we should have one shaped like a boat myself! I can't vote till I see pictures...

Can you edit that poll to add Jeff H, so he doesn't feel left out??

If not, of the two options wombats are most like pinatas....

painkiller will become famous soon enough
To truly settle the issue, each of the current moderators must submit to this thread the following:

1) Most embarrassing moment of your life
2) Nicknames from childhood that caused you trauma
3) A list of 10 things that you would never want made public
4) The body part(s) you are most self-conscious about
5) A detailed account of your greatest failure in life

Your submission will be judged by our expert panel to determine the winner. The selected moderator will be called on Christmas Eve to arbitrate a personal-attack dispute between two SailNutters that began in Off-Topic, spread to On-Topic threads, and finally spawned dozens of PM complaints about their behavior by people who just wanted to read about hull cleaners and LEDs on Christmas Day, dammit.

None of the above mods, including the non mentioned JeffH.

On the other hand, there is one Mr pain Killer that deserves some PAIN in his life, instead of giving us all pains in the you know where! So with this all in mind, I nominater Mr Pain Killer as our new pinata!

Respectfully
Mr Blt2ski

I'm voting for Fuzzy as the new piñata... whacking him with a boathook should make a nice sound...

JRP, I'll send you a bill for the vote in your favor...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
