Becoming a Captain??

I''m looking for information on different Captains schools? Which one is the best, where have you gone, etc.? Any information on gaining an OceanMasters license would be very helpful.

Try Florida Marine Institute if you are thinking of home study. Used their course to prepare for exam; got my 100 ton!

SeaSchool offers courses as well. They have quite a few different locations as well. I went through the 6-pack course, as many have on here, and personally I loved it. It wasn''t easy, but hey, it''s not supposed to be, right?

They offer many upgrades, including several levels of Masters.

Rob.

Seadog,

I tried to look up the Florida Marine Institute on the internet, but could only find Florida Marine Research Institute. Is it possible for you to give me a web site address for them?

Thanks
Roy
