Does anyone know what's the make and model of the wooden sailboat that is part of the Outback Steakhouse commercial?

Gorgeous boats. Designed as an Oly class in 1929. Narrow beam, low-slung, wet, and a double handful of hell downwind. They'll punch thru surprisingly nasty seas. Lots of strings, awesome bruises, and a devoted following of hardcore sailors.

Home page for Int'l Dragon class HERE. The Dragon gets my blood up! Heh -- we bought a blown out old spinnaker for our SJ21 from Minney's, just to practise with. It's off a Dragon, North American Champion's boat apparently. You can see the Olympic cut to the spi in the website photos, and the difficulty keeping the bottom open on such a narrow boat. Makes for some exciting runs!

Edit: didn't become an Olympic boat til 1948. Frolic's right -- it is of the Meter Boat kin, tho the overhangs are less ridiculous. Here's some Int'l 6-Metres:

Buccaneer18, Grainnia
SJ21, Diarmuid
Albin Ballad 30, Fionn
