Baltimore, here we come... Underway

Well, they pull the docks out in Albany on the 24th, so after 8 weeks at home we needed a new place to be. I still have to work a bunch, so we figured I could become a frequent flier on Southwest since they have a direct flight from Baltimore to Albany. So.... we're underway as of this morning. Albany to Kingston to Haverstraw to NYC or Sandy Hook. We'll wait out the weather there (just missed a weather window from Yesterday to Wednesday) and then head down the coast, up the Delaware, through the C&D and to Baltimore in one shot (weather permitting). Any idea where you're gonna tie her up and where you might be staying? We live in Baltimore inner harbor area (Locust Point to be exact) but we don't keep our boat there. Anyway would love to get together when you get down here.

Not sure where we're staying yet... I have to call around to the places in Baltimore, but we'd prefer to be near the inner harbor if we can get a decent price. Bloodhunter - we always love to visit!

Hey that's quite a hike. Enjoy the trip.

One of the wonderful things about following the likes of LaBatt and family (LaBattery ?) is the geography lesson us non Americans get.

well when you get here let me know, or all of us baltimorans. we will buy the kids a beer and the adults a diet coke. jk

in the other post you had before about baltimore, check out the places i said. i am sure the snowbirds have gone down south. most people ask about 250 per month for the slip while they are gone. with bath houses and stuff there.
