Thumbs up East Coast Australia

Lets start a thread about anchorages and Bar crossings and gear for Ozzie conditions. I have cruised most of Queensland and some of NT. Soon to go again.

Anybody tell me of the Bar crossing at the mouth of the CLarenceR and things to see and do upstream.

Any interesting anecdotes or characters encountered.

Hi St Anna regarding the Clarence River use Lucas,s book for details if going into Yamba ...follow the leads and stick very close to the bank in the channel after going through the "hole in the wall " The channel is very narrow go slow and feel your way once past the trawler fleet you should be ok in to the marina Cheers Tim timjf@optusnet.com.au
