Toronto Boat Show?

Anyone been to this show in January? Is it worth attending? We're thinking of going, just for something do to sailing related during the winter.

The website is not that great, but that doesn't mean it's not a fun show or thing to do for a weekend.

Any experience or thoughts would be appreciated.

DG

I found it a great place for getting your sailing fix in the middle of winter and there are lots of special deals, not to mention some real dream sail boats to get aboard, highly recommend it.

A great town to visit but I wouldn't stay here in the wintertime. About the boatshow, it used to be great but it all depends on the economy. We also have an in-water boatshow in the late summer but that was cancelled this year due to lack of exhibitors. I would check the website later in the year to see who's showing sailboats.

I went three years ago (i lived in Denver at the time and it was relatively close, now i'm in Victoria, BC) and the show was great. very large, lots of good seminars, nice venue, good hotel deals. it was freaking cold that week, though.
