Appears he was only "missing" because for some reason he did not feel the need to tell the family member where he was.

I prefer a sailboat to a motorboat, and it is my belief that boat sailing is a finer, more difficult, and sturdier art than running a motor.... Jack London

Maybe RC, or he might have just arrived at a place where communications were available. The story is severely lacking in info.

Anyway, he's been cruising for three years, thought someone might know him and might be concerned.

Smacky, if you get lost we'll have to listen to a certain poster (or two) for MONTHS!!!
