Cape Canaveral to St. Augustine

We are planning a weekend trip to St. Augustine, FL from Cape Canaveral. Can anyone advise me on St. Augustine anchorages and inlets?

This is "Sail"Net, not "Speedboat"Net, isn''t it? You''ll need more than a weekend for this trip.

Last time I was there. about 3 weeks ago, they were still dredging the inlet. Contact the dredge as you approach. They may ask you to go around them outside the marked channel. It''s not a great all weather inlet.

Anchor either North or South of the Bridge of Lions, depending on the weather. Dinghy in to the St Augustine Municipal Marina.
