The purchase price of a boat is just the admittance fee to the dance...you still have to spend money on the girl...so court one with something going for her with pleasing and desirable character traits others desire as well... or you could find yourself in a disillusioned relationship contemplating an expensive divorce.

Seventeen+ foot draft. She'd make a fine family cruiser for a trip down the ICW.

Seriously, that would be a fun ride. I wonder what she looks like on the inside?

Only in America does a guy who owes his living to a Minnie (mouse) sails a Maxi. Kind of Goofy how things are! The boat looks like it goes like Jiminy Cricket. The original Pyewacket was crewed by Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy and Sneezy. A very reliable bunch who's every day of hard racing was to them, just another day of, off to work we go. It was heard once, from Roy himself, as Pyewacket was kicking up a wake and pulling out sight,

"To infinity and beyond!"

Wow, what would you guess that refit would have cost? I get antsy looking at the price of a new exhaust riser for my diesel.

Here is the bow section they cut off...Just incase you want to trim her down to 70' again.......and we get cross threaded around here about the correct method of patching a small hole or blister...

... there's enough deck space to host one of my wife's family reunions! (She has 7 siblings....) Most times we could handle the draft.

Should be named Dumbo: it's an elephant, a whiiittte elephant. Pyewacket has been chopped and stretched and re-keeled and modded a number of times because, despite millions of dollars being dumped into that hole in the water, Pyewacket never won much of anything. Took line honors in a few events, against boats half its length. But nothing to justify the kind of money Roy has thrown at it over the years. No one can afford to keep the boat.
