Hampton to Annapolis leaving tonight:)

Going to be leaving here heading down to the Hamptons at around 8pm to do a preboat inspection. If all looks good then we will leave out tonight heading toward Annapolis. After doing a preboat boat inspection repair some electrical issues I hope to head out tonight heading north to Annapolis. Plain on sailing 90% of the way. I will have my outboard with us just in case the winds don’t want to act right. The weather looks good, cold but good. So if there are any boaters out there over the next couple of days and you see a few guys all blue throw us some hot soup and give us a point in the right direction.  I will give update as soon as we get to Annapolis. Lapworth has yet again stepped up to the plate to help out. He will be picking us up from the Severn River to give me a lift back to my boat and John a ride to the greyhound. Thanks Lapworth. Looks like small craft advisory until midnight for much of the bay.

NW winds 15 to 20 diminishing to 10-15 after midnight...so pretty much in your face....Hope you have a dodger..and lots of good cold weather clothing.
Boil lots of water, make soup..put in thermos....keep eating!...get lots of calories in....

Wear life jackets and harness....but don't get wet.....

Do I sound like a parent yet??...
