New Gps on the cheap

OK ok I know you don’t need a gps but a good deal is a good deal. I just bought a Garmin 76Csx with a usb cord, 128mb micro sd card and I got it registered in my name and for for the unbelievable price of 50$ bucks. Tony here at my marine who I have helped with a few things just being friendly sold me this GPS because it is his 4th one and well he can’t use it without having the blue charts and I guess he doesn’t want to pay the 120 or so dollars for another sd card. Man this little GPS is kind of neat. Who the heck needs 4 GPS anyway. He is a gear freak. Anyone want to buy a new 76Csx for 180 $ bucks [IMG][/IMG]

Good for you. I love a bargain. Have you found good charts for the rest of your trip?

Garffin, what a steal! that's a great Unit...I've had mine for several years..
Paid...7 or 8 times that much when it was just out....

With Mapsource you can download routes to it.....

That's a great unit and a great price. I have the GPSMAP 76CS Plus, which is very similar. So far the only downside is the cost of adding detailed charts (BlueCharts) because the basemap is pretty poor.

LarryandSusanMacDonald will become famous soon enough
The UPS cord... would it work with a GPSmap76 or a GPS 76? I'm currently using a RS232 cable with an adapter cable to USB. And it doesn't work with Vista or 7. I had to buy a new little computer with XP on it. Even talked to Garmin and they said nothing about a USB cord - and that was just a month or 6 weeks ago.
