Cape Canaveral to St. Thomas VI

The trip from Cape Canaveral to St. Augustine was successful and fun - and we did it on a (long) weekend!

Now, has anyone advice on routes/times/ for sailing from Cape Canaveral, FL to St. Thomas, VI? The point is the DESTINATION - as fast as possible. We are on a 37'' Catamaran and only have 2 weeks max to sail.

Thanx,
LarLei.

I think the guy you would like to talk to is John Kretschmer. John is one of the feature article writers for Sailnet. I enjoy everything he writes. Go the the Sailnet home page, bottom right hand corner, click on "View/Serch Article Archive". Then find John Kretschmer on the list of Authors, and click on his name. Under "Articles" click on, "The Annual Tropical Bash, Thoughts on Sailing to the Caribbean". I think the last half of that article will be of interest to you.
Also; under "Our Experts Respond" you might be interested in John''s answer to "Caribbean Wind Strategy".
Sam Boyle no doubt has John''s e-mail address. If you contact Sam he might e-mail him and you might get a call from John and be able to talk to him.

Good Sailing & keep her off the bricks.
