Boat haulers to recommend?

Need to transport new sailboat from SF to Houston. Any recommendations on good haulers or warnings about unscrupulous ones?

We are moving a boat from Fl. to Houston and have been given the name of
Florida Boat Haulers. Has anyone used them or have any other suggestions.

I highly recommend Joule Yacht Transport, Inc. of Clearwater, FL. They did an excellent job of transporting my Jeanneau 36 from Maryland to San Diego upon my retirement from the USCG. $9564 total shipping. Competitive price, very professional, kept me informed of the cross-country progress, boat arrived in perfect shape. Would use them again in a heartbeat, and I'm a fairly picky guy.

Additional costs:
MD yard - Unstep mast, prep for shipment, load (about $900)
CA yard - Unload, touch-up bottom paint, wax topsides ($1050
CA rigger - step mast, tune rig (about $950)

I recommend Global Yacht Hauling of Grand Rapids, MI. They haul nationally with 7 trucks. The owner has had the business for twenty-some years. He just shipped mine from Michigan to NYC and did the work himself. About the nicest people I've ever worked with.
