Mr. Moldy

If you want top dollar for your boat, please clean it up! Check out the mold on this thing...on the deck and on the inside. The batteries and the engine are full of rust. Truly a shame to let it go this far and want 49K for it. Lucky if it goes for 10K.

LOL...just goes to show:

What is seen and felt by the seller,

"Oh my beautiful boat...I have to sell"!
Buyers will love her, I KNOW, I can tell
I have so loved her, we played in the Sun
Memories must sustain me, my sailing is done.

So come all ye buyers, bulging pockets of money
Fork it over and sail her on the seas of milk and honey
I will miss her when she's gone...it will be tuff
To do this beauty justice, I hope I have been asking enough.

WHAT the propective buyer sees and feels:

By the looks of her, this should be a breeze
My offer of half should be accepted with ease
The refit shouldn't take long...just a few years
Thousands of dollars, blood, sweat and tears.

Disrepair and gloom is all I see down below
My wife is gonna KILL me and rightfully so
If I bring home this maiden, she'll think me a twit
So at ANY price, I'll do well to pass on this POS!

I will end this on a possitive note...That sucker IS blue!

I think I would pay double for the OTHER boat like it that is listed. Unless the interior is just as bad, but the outside is way nicer!

Now that's a sad sight. My C27 was just about as bad as that when I first opened her up - but at least it was all on fiberglass and not wood.

$49K? HA!

That's a Bio-Hazard.....I'd call the EPA...and have it called a toxic waste site.

Someone sniffed too much mold to think that's worth 49 k...

Have you seen that blue? Lightning wouldn't even touch it.

I'll be t that when the owner walked away from it, it was in pristine condition. Then he didn't come back for a few years and his memory no longer jibes with reality. I saw a lot of this when looking for a boat. The dealer told me this happens all the time when people list them. Many owners think the listing dealer should be doing all the upkeep while their boat sits unsold for years.

There was a "plunger" on the counter in the photo of the head. Nuff said. If the crapper is not working more than likely nothing else does either.

Peace,
