Wondering: Florida, weather system, for a Gulf Stream .. today ?

Freezing out my door, but I was looking at the Florida
weather. The radar shows a system, seems to
be coming from the Southwest, going toward the
northeast, as it crosses Florida. Looks like some
rain with the system..

As I put the radar in motion, I got wondering, is
this a good Gulf Crossing pattern?

I'd think the wind would be right, but what about
the unsettled conditions..

Just wondering on a winter day.

I suggest you take a look at Passage Weather:

PassageWeather - Sailing Weather - Marine Weather Forecasts for Sailors and Adventurers

"It is not so much for its beauty that the sea makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air, that emanation from the waves, that so wonderfully renews a weary spirit."
