Wondering: Florida, weather system, for a Gulf Stream .. today ?

Freezing out my door, but I was looking at the Florida
weather. The radar shows a system, seems to
be coming from the Southwest, going toward the
northeast, as it crosses Florida. Looks like some
rain with the system..

As I put the radar in motion, I got wondering, is
this a good Gulf Crossing pattern?

I'd think the wind would be right, but what about
the unsettled conditions..

Just wondering on a winter day.

thanks hylyte.. that is cool .. i learned a couple of things..
looks like today was a good day for a trip across to the
bahamas.. wind from the south, southwest .. at about
5-10 knots.
