My boat, covered in snow...

There was more snow in Gosport, UK than I expected when I visited our boat on Saturday:

Slippery to move around. Our engine fired up first try and I ran her for 25 minutes to warm up. I'm happy to have two heaters in the boat, doing their job.

Yes, it is a beautiful boat. I just checked my wallet and will give $127 for it.

Jim,

I take it snow is fairly unusual in those parts? We've read about a cold winter in Europe (much like this side of the atlantic). How is everyone coping?

P.S. I see what looks like a PSC Crealock 40 hanging on a mooring in your final photo. Are there many PSCs over your way?

Hi, John

I'll have to look at the larger size version of that picture to see if that is a PSC. If it is, it's very rare over here. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a PSC listed for sale at a UK broker.

In the same type of boat, we see more of the Victoria, Vancouver, Rustler and Starlight sailboats:

Victoria 34:

Vancouver 34:

Rustler 36:

Starlight 39:

So, more than usual cruising sailboats, but not many PSC yachts around here.
