What is Blast Reaching?

I know what reaching is, but I've not heard this term before.

It's when you strap a JATO-pack to your boat and light it off when you're on a beam-reach.

I use the term to describe reaching in moderate
to heavy air, with an apparent wind angle range
from about 90 to 135 deg., and too tight
to carry a spinnaker.
A 'Blast Reacher' headsail would typically
be a high clewed #2 Genoa, and at times would
be flown in conjuction with a Genoa Staysail.
