Hi, i am new here, I want to sail from LA to Singapore this year. Can anyone help me identify what would be the best time to leave?

From LA as in Los Angeles, or LA as in Louisiana. Might want to buy Jimmy Cornell's World Cruising Routes, as it was designed for this.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

You'll need to get going ASAP. Your best window to cross the Pacific is now through about April. Easiest to cross from Central America to the Marquesas.
