Cool wind animation

The following are the hourly frames from the Southern California Wind Analysis as a low-pressure system blew through today. The 2300 UTC frame is missing for some reason, but other than that you get a frame an hour for 10 hours.

We had 33kt sustained nasties this afternoon out of the SSE, had to go secure a couple of runaway headsails which was a real exciting way to spend a wet afternoon.

Ever watch those guys kite sail ??, well, that's what we were doing on the dock, 2 180lb old farts trying to secure sails due to unsecured furlers

I hear this next storm (due in the AM ) is the worst, could be the most evil storm to hit SD since 1913
