Regulars will remember our pics of Antarctica from last year.

Following that up is this gallery documenting Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego - online now, follow the link:

After the Southern Ocean crossing from New Zealand Kiwi Roa made her way down from approximately the middle of Chile into Patagonia and southward to Tiera del Fuego.

Lots more ice but it's not all glaciers. Enjoy.

The Falklands and South Georgia I. are due for treatment sometime soon. Stay tuned.

Stunning scenery. Looks cold though.

Craig,

Thank you very much for posting this, and thank Peter for the wonderful photos and descriptive text.

We're in southern Mexico now, preparing to hop to the Galapagos and then spend the southern autumn and winter slowly working our way down the coast to Puerto Montt. We intend spending the southern spring and summer exploring from Puerto Montt to the Horn, and Peter's photos have us chomping at the bit.

I found a copy of this.....

Through the land of fire: fifty-six ... - Google Books

in a book sale last month. These pics help to put some of it into context.

Great pics. Thanks for that.

ps - nice anchor.....:)

pps - that 100'er looked William Fife to me. Damn I love his boats.

Craig - these pics are AMAZING!!! I've always wondered what that area of the world would be like from a cruising perspective.

Thanks for posting!
