Sailing Tampa to Melbourne FL

Hello ,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to be asking this but I'm trying to gather information about sailing from the west coast of Florida to the east coast, particularly from Tampa Bay to the Melbourne area. Information regarding the quickest route, how long it would take, and any other useful tips would be appreciated. The boat is a 23' and draws almost 3'. Thanks in advance!

Through the Okeechobee Waterway would be the quickest but there will be lot of motoring involved.

There are several recent threads on this subject and they should tell you what you need to know.

This time of year (mid March to Mid April) I found that the NE Winds made the trip from the St.Lucie to Melbourne harder on fuel than desirable even in the ICW.
