Update from Christy:

Dad is looking better today. Of course, he is still "wired for sound" with tubes going everywhere, but he is aware what is going on and is giving people the thumbs up sign. His labs came back looking better as well today.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Mike is a wonderful man and a fine sailor. I had the great pleasure of sailing with him a few months back and got to know him very well. His family is never far from his thoughts, especially his dear Courtney. He's strong. He'll recover. But he's going to need lots of well wishes. Here's to you, Mike.

Life can really throw some nasty stuff at you thats for sure. Nonetheless that news is encouraging, here's hoping for a full recovery.

Best wishes from Wombat Manor.

FYI,
Mike C is doing much better the past couple of days and will be starting physical therapy tomorrow. LVAD is up and running. Three weeks in the Hospital over two of which were spent in ICU.
Keep up the good work Mike.
