Splash

Finished up tonight making ready for morning splash.
ChillyCold as the sun left the sky. Wind died making it easier to bend on the sails. I've done this a bunch of times and this time more than ever, i'm so ready to let the sailing begin.
As i was working with the genny, i stopped and looked at ma nature's present to me, as i was the only person in the yard.
Maybe it was the brutal winter that's creating the xtra sailing jolt, or the fact that i did not get her south this year. Not sure what it is but i'm sure glad the splash is about to happen. cheers!

thanks Still

was just reading your post on reorganizing things...still laughing! It was blowing like stink here today and there's a ton of water in the bay w/moon and noreaster. Made the bridge clearance somewhat challenging as my neighbor managed to readjust his wind indicator as he sailed on down.
They're calling for 10 degrees warmer and SE winds, so it'll be a nice sail down the river.

We got out for 2 hours today early for our first sail of the year. It was nippy...but sure neats sitting at work or home. Felt good to be out on the Bay again.

Environment Canada is predicting this to be one of the best summers in years... I know, I know its a prediction and worth about a nickle but with the last two crappy summers here in Ontario we are due for some beautiful weather.
