Has any one moored their boat of the julington creek bridge. If so what it like and how long can you anchor
And is it legal?
Thanks Peter

I am not aware of any legal restrictions. Several years ago we ran down there trying to hide from a hurricane warning and found some of the bottom in that area was so soft that we couldn't get anything to hold well enough to suit us. That was while trying to tuck in close to shore. A trawler out in the middle of the cove seemed to fare better.

My is docked farther down stream south of Palatka. There are many boats just anchored in the river and have been there for quite a while. I don't think there are any restrictions.

I know of boats anchored across from Julington in GCSs. Some are liveaboards, and have been there for a very long time........i2f
