1972 Columbia 34 -Bought for $ 900.00

I purchased a 1972 Columbia 34 for $ 900.00.. Yes only $ 900.00 in a marina auction.

Main sail, Jib, and Genoa - wonderful condition
No soft spots
Inbound engine runs with no issues at all.

interior needs cleaning - no prob
All electrical works perfect - lights, gauges, AC, radio, TV

Ive tried to upload photos, but too big of a file.


I thought I might let everyone know the deal of a lifetime!

Sounds great. There are good boats sometimes at boatyard auctions. That $900 leaves plenty of budget for maintenance and upgrades.

Did you purchase it at the Aqualand Marina auction? If so what a deal, I may know the boat, as long as the engine runs you did well, could have some leaks and even though you may have some issues with the bottom, keel, etc, for $900 you cannot go wrong, if you get one year out of it, great, if you get 3 years out of it, even better.
