Splendid!

Who thought that was a good idea? A drug smuggler wanting to get a new boat? Someone wanting to face charges for calling in a false distress?

Someone who needs to listen to others more? I don't but sometimes it is a good idea to ask why something is not a good idea.

I wonder how many times he has been radioed or phoned in by concerned citizens?

I suppose he is an artist though and probably gets permission from whoever with notifications going out to all appropriate agencies as to whats up...Sort of like we do when burning slash piles....although we have been told by the fire departments that if they get a call the HAVE to come out....I guess they have been sued before for assuming a burning house was a permited fire at one time.

I can't find any info on this, but I am inclined to go with the 'artist' theory as the fourth photo looks like it's in a gallery of some kind.

I doubt many people would notice that detail if they saw this boat in the water . I would suspect they would make the logical assumption that the boat was in distress, as the reality is not logical.

I have a ladder stored on my companionway hatch cover. From a distance you couldn't tell what purpose it serves.
