Book Question

A few weeks or so ago, maybe a month, someone had mentioned a new sailing book that they were recommending. Maybe it was SD? I can't find anything searching the forums for the name of the book with the link. Anyone remember this?

Well I recommended "0VERB0ARD". You won't read a better sailing story...and it is a new book.

Do you know what the book was about???

Henkel's "The Sailor's Book of Small Cruising Sailboats" is a pretty new one and one I've recommended for people looking to buy a pocket cruiser.

Seidman's The Complete Sailor is another I often recommend, as are:

Beth Leonard's The Voyager's Handbook, 2nd Ed.
Don Casey's This Old Boat, 2nd Ed.
Chapman's Piloting and Seamanship, 66th ed.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

SD, I think that is the one I was thinking about. "The Sailor's Book of Small Cruising Sailboats". I am going to check that out on Amazon. Thanks!

Another good source for books is Alibris.com.
