This must be some boat!!

From a craigslist ad I saw today:

Quote:
16'inch boat - $300 "i have a nice boat that is about 16 inches, it can fit at least 3 people , that was the most that went in it so idont know if it it can fit more. i painted it and now the chips are coming off and i really dont want to spend any more money on it..i already spent 650 on it 3 years ago 600 for the boat and 50 dollars or the paint.. but anyways i am trying to sell the boat for 300 dollars or best offer...and i barely even used the boat mabye 25 times at the charles river..and since i dont have a trailer anymore id like to get rid of it asap.....so remember cash talks if intrested give me an email at [he put his email here] and if you want any pictures ill be more than happy to take a few pictures and email them to you
thank you and have a nice day"

Hee.

Sounds like Barbie got the dream house and the boat trailer in the divorce, leaving Ken with a boat he can no longer afford.

Daydreamer—

Unfortunately, there's a whole lot of stupid out there...and it isn't fixable.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
