In search of a website

That you can enter a HIN on anyboat and be able to get the specs ( ie: drive train ) for it

Doesn't exist... even if it did, it wouldn't necessarily be accurate, since people repower boats all the time.

Right but they do it for cars, you could at least get a feel for the boats factory configuration. I think it sounds like a great idea.
