Vessel goes down in Gulf of Alaska

Four crew were aboard, one was lost, just last night. The CG retrieved the other three. The boat was the Northern Belle out of Seattle.

Fisherman recounts rescue as boat sinks off Alaska

Recordings of the Mayday, along with some CG footage.

NOAA conditions report (NDBC - Station 46082)

They were looking at 5-foot swells with a period of around 9 seconds, plus 5-foot waves at 5 seconds.

Indeed. And as has been reported in other cases, sounds like the Coasties were calm and professional throughout.
