So, I appear to have bought a boat

Agreed a price on a boat this afternoon so I'm now the proud (almost) owner of Tangerine, a 1979 C&C 24. Not got any pics yet, but there are some on this listing
Sailboats: 24' C&C 24 - Listing #: 2898

Needs a few bits and pieces but basically sound.

Thanks, I thought she stood out from the usual white and blues. Plus it's a good colour for the CG to spot

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Looks great

Awesome starter cruising boat - nicer than what I started out with, by a long shot! I hope it provides you with many years of enjoyment!

I received a letter from that boat.

Quote:
Dearest PaulinVictoria,

Thank you for considering me as your next sailing buddy. I like long floats by the beach and funny skippers. I have one request. Well two, actually. That you have money and that you please update my cushions down below.

Thanks,

Yours truly,
[whatever you name me]

Awesome Paul! Congrats dude! She's a great looking boat - and I'll bet she'll throw down some speed being a C&C.
