Atlantic crossing - africa to europe

We have a knysna 44ft catamaran that we are planning to sail from durban, south africa up to portugal. If theres anybody out there who has any advice or tips on routes, best time of year to go etc we would be very grateful!

As you probably know there are a number of ocean going Cat builders in South Africa and most of their boats get delivered on their own bottoms.

I would suggest contacting some of them and speaking with their delivery Captains, I am sure they would be very helpful.
