jeanneau windows

Whats with the early Jeanneau window ports. They all seem to have this 6 to 8" high long plexi the length of the cabin. The interior looks almost like a sawsall cut. Anybody replace with individual port windows, or see any with ports? Red

Red,

You would be better off putting that question on the Jeanneau-owners forum which I have seen you post on. You would probably have a better chance of a response. In the mean time, My 85 Arcadia has teh stock windows like yours. The area around the wood opening on the inside came with some thin veneer. BUT< if you rig is like mine, this veneer is going by the way side, so it looks as you say, like someone took, probably did! a jigsaw to the opening!

I am sure someone could come up with some different window treatments etc, not sure it would be worth the time or not. I would probably figure out how to fabricate some 1/2" teak trim vs the less than 1/16" glue on veneer used from the factory.
