First Sailboat Landed!! Islander 21

This is my first sailboat and I am so psyched right now! I just got home from signing the papers for my new - old 1966 Islander 21. The PO has owned her since 1990 and took very good care of her. She comes complete with everything including a good 8 HP Marine kicker. She is in need of some TLC (not restoration which some people selling their boats deem "TLC") and I can't wait to start cleaning her up!! I am going to start a thread of everything I am going to be doing so follow along! ;)

If you are familiar or have and or had this boat please PM me. I would really like to know about where she came from.

:D :D :D :D :D :D

Thanks guys! One of the first things I want to do is add some bow and stern rails and stainless steel grab rails to protect my guys from falling off. Anyone on LI know of a good lead for me from a junk boat?
:)

For sure! I have a long list to tackle but nothing that's to tough for me to handle myself. I have some cool custom touches in mind so I am very excited!! I spent a few hours on her the other day cleaning and taking all the wood out getting her ready to make her mine .......
