Question Boat Name Question

So this is not the usual "what do I have to do to rename my boat to appease Neptune" naming question. I am wondering, what if I repaint my boat and keep the name, just change the style/font of the lettering? Maybe even the placement? Am I in need of any sort of appeasement to the proper authorities?

Thanks,

CB

Hope not

Gosh, I hope not because I did just that last year. So far Neptune seems to not have noticed. Or if he did he liked what he saw. I don't think I will worry about and suggest you do the same.

If you were to do it in secret and not tell anyone you would have been fine, but now that Neptune ia aware... i'm sorry the rule is you have to sacrifice a virgin, Tie her to the out most pillon at your marina right before a storm.

Or you can buy us all around of grog to celibrate.

I'm just the messanger.

Rum will do in lieu of a virgin. Trust me after enough rum you won't care if she's a virgin

Some Place here there is a written fromat to rename your boat...
Some thing about pleasing Neptune and all that. Much liquor consumed and some spilt over the bow, the latter comes first then you and friends finish the bottle. Or something like that... Do a search here about renaming a boat.
