new motor start

Hey sailors, Sunday I 'm headed to the (condo), soon to be boat.I am bringing oil and antifreeze I am going to bucket start. Its been a long winter of renovating engine stringers complete reinsulate, all new components, I would like to post some pics. For some reason I can't send to sailnet site, email I can do. Anyone I can send some pics to who knows how to post here. I know this sounds flakey, but this computer is not my strong suit, I am learning however so slowly..... Red

Photobucket is easy. Start an account there. Upload your pics, and the software makes it easy to manage your pics.

Have fun on the boat. Getting ready to get mine in the water too. Got an appointment with the crane operator today for a May 24 drop-in. Ran my motor last weekend, and am very impressed, since it's been sitting idle for couple years.

from you post on the other forum Red. Nice Westy!

Red, after you have pics uploaded to photobucket. You want to copy the "direct link" which you can find on the bottom left of the photobucket screen. After you copy it. you open a window here, then click on the icon that says "insert image" it's the little square 5t from the left of the tool bar above the message window. theses features don't show when you do a quick reply. then you paste the link into the little box that pops up.

I was very frustrated when I was new here too. It gets easier. really it does.
