I started my new engine

Hey all yesterday went to the marina, still on the hard, 35 hp beta engine in last week , did some last minute adjustments on throttle/shifter, cables, and exhaust hoses oil, anti-freeze. I filled up the raycor, opened the bleeder on the engine fuel filter and prime pumped the lever, started, coughed stalled, reprimed, started right up again stalled, after 3 primes, fired in half turn and runs great. I was using the bucket start, after alignment spun the new shaft/prop, I hear I have to recheck alignment after boat is splashed. that makes sense, the boat is sitting on the keel now, in the water the whole 12K is pulling down it bound to change the dynamic of the hull somewhat. Anyhow it was great to hear that thing run after looking at it in my garage for 3 months. I should be wet in about 2 weeks. Still trying to post more pics, I was able to get a few on sailboat owners forum....Red

Post some of those at the jeanneau owners site too. If you have a how you did this write up, send it and pics to malcolm so he can post the "how to"

If you need help with that part, let malcolm or I know.
