nomenclature of sails on sailing vessels

Books from the Aubrey/Maturin series by Patrick O''Brian each have a picture of a sailing ship with the sails labeled. They might not have all the names you need, however, because some boats aren''t rigged with all of them. Skysails, for example, might be found on an extreme clipper ship, but perhaps not on an earlier vessel, or one with a different use, like a whaler. The Mystic Seaport website might be a good place to look as well, along with one on the USS Constitution, since they just got a new suit of sails for her 200th anniversary.
