WTF? Mercedes pop up

Anyone else issues with a Mercedes pop up ad? You can't close it (using IE or Chrome)

It is really an annoying ad...but closes just fine on Safari.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

It closes with chrome but the sailnet page is dead and I can't click on new post.

I had a dream, I was sailing, I was happy, I was even smiling. Then I looked down and saw that I was on a multi-hull and woke up suddenly in a cold sweat.

Really annoying ? Thats putting it mildly. Sure it closes OK using Firefox but it takes three clicks and the damnable thing is opening on every new page.

Admin had better get this sorted and sorted fast.

Damn, now I see it, every time I go back to the new post list. This will definitely make me stop using sailnet if this continues...... It is intrusive and I DO NOT need it!!!!!!!!

Get it the F*^$ off the forum

After you think you have closed the flucking thing look carefully at the top of the page. In my case there is a blue bar with minimise maximise. You also need to close this bar.

I'll try and post a screen capture of the thing.

Holy Guacamole! That's horrendous! It closes okay on Chrome/Mac, but you have to wait for the damn thing to load, close the ad, then close the container.

Definitely a black eye for Mercedes. It's why I drive a BMW.
