FYI,

Maryland DNR is now patrolling marinas and photo documenting all boats that are not displaying current MD tax stickers. I spoke with them and they stated that they are going to be in the marinas monthly, so they can prove who's transient and who's not and will be mailing violations out in the fall.

With the current budget issues, I suspect all states will be cracking down on tax enforcement as well.
