I never would have guessed he sailed

I found this article on MSNBC

BP chief slammed over yacht outing - Disaster in the Gulf- msnbc.com

I never would have guessed he was a yachtsman. Its still in poor taste though.

Maybe he doesn't sail - he's not sailing his yacht, he's watching his yacht race.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Did you mean the BP CEO or the President and VP who were busy golfing?

Oh yeah.. the British upper class created the "gentleman's sport of yachting. I guess they needed something to do with the millions. Should we thankful yachting has become the passion for the "small people" ?

I don't find this nearly as offensive as Obama taking time off and sending Biden to lay the wreath at the tomb of the unknown on memorial day. After all Obama is only the Commander and Chief and that trumps a CEO.

As I see it BP told him to hit the shower about 1/2 time. But you can understand why the compony screwed up.
