EPA to delay ethanol decision til Fall

Seems that the EPA is delaying til Fall a decision that should not even be an issue...They refuse to look at real world situations, or to understand that it takes more energy to produce ethanol that the product will produce.

Call or Write your congress person, before it is too late...stop the increase in ethanol, now.

Ethanol is an idiotic idea that needs to have a nice long stake driven through its heart; IMHO. The massive subsidies that go toward it are even more idiotic. The "green" argument that is produces lower emissions is laughable since transport of the raw material, processing, and transport of the finished material all depend on FOSSIL fuels. If you transport it beyond a few hundred miles from where the ethanol raw material is grown, you end up using more fossil fuel than the energy you get out of the ethanol.

Unfortunately, ADM has a bigger lobbyist budget than the people do...
