I''m sorry for hijacking this thread, I''m frustrated with the blood-thirsty politicians in Washington.

Denr,
This qualifies as a "tangent"! What were you thinking!?!?! I could''ve sworn this was a sailing forum. You are entitled to your views but next time find a more appropriate outlet for your frustration, a political forum. Think next time...don''t vent then apologize. Get your focus off what is frustrating you and try to spread some humor, help or just happiness for a change.

Denr, So now Sailnet is a political forum for you.Well, let''s open up the floor for rebuttal of your remarks. There must be a few thousand or so that read this board. Oh,...there might be a problem. If everyone posts their opinions,it might not leave any room for discussing sailing.I know, let''s just leave it open to arrogant assholes that feel their political opinions are more important than everyone elses, and are to stupid to understand what a "SAILING BOARD" is used for.

DelmarRey,
Sea Spirit was never a crew member on the vessel.Sandra Stevens from the Ponsonby Sailing club in New Zealand is the cry baby in question. Sea Spirit is trying to make out she was the crew member that needs to be protected. The same hard luck story is posted on the forum post at
www.7knots.com It turns out sea spirit is a knight in shinning armour trying to protect her little friend Sandra Stevens, who happens to be 45 years of age and is a expert at getting other people involved in fighting her battles.

A full account from my perspective has been posted on the 7 knots site (forum) in my defence. This woman openly states "males have to learn to heel to females.

The last vessel she was on prior to this vessel in question, she tagged the Captain as "The Captain from hell" and went into print with her exagerated and distorted view
of the on board life.

You take her on board at your peril, she should be looking for vessels with female Captains.

Two things here that of a pirate disguised as a captain.
And the poor political opinion of Denr.
The first should (if it is a fact) be hunted down, questioned and then keel hauled.
Denr? Should be keel hauled first then questioned.

This is from a Proud American who also is USN Ret.

Proof that the way to breath new life into an old thread containing 90% stupid is to just add some more stupid. It's sort of like seamonkeys.
